Bunker and MARPOL fuel surcharges effective from 8.3.2010


Dear Customer,

The fluctuations in the crude oil market have led to a decrease in the price of bunker oil used by our vessels.

Therefore we will adjust our bunker surcharge from the present 32.5%
(effective from 8 February 2010) to 31.4% with effect from 8 March 2010.




As from 19.05.2006 shipping lines calling MARPOL area in the Baltic are forced to use low-sulphur fuel of 1.5%, both in the Baltic and North Sea service, due to normal bunkering practise. This extra MARPOL surcharge is invoiced in addition to our present bunker clause.

The MARPOL fuel surcharge of 1.8% valid from 6 March 2009 will remain unchanged.
